The CON NP Spiral Conical Connection Implant, Narrow Platform is a tapered bone level implant developed to combine primary stability, conical sealing, and restorative precision within a narrow platform configuration. Its spiral implant body is designed to support mechanical engagement during placement, while the tapered geometry promotes controlled insertion and adaptation to a range of bone conditions.
The macro design includes progressive threads, apical cutting features, and a body configuration intended to promote insertion control and primary stability. The lower portion of the implant is designed to support bone engagement during placement, while the converging coronal profile and platform switching concept are intended to support preservation of crestal bone and maintenance of peri implant soft tissue contours. Due to its tapered spiral geometry and conical restorative interface, the CON NP implant may be considered for both immediate loading and conventional two stage protocols, depending on bone quality, insertion torque, prosthetic planning, and overall clinical assessment. The implant features a conical hex connection intended to provide a stable implant abutment interface and support restorative accuracy.
This connection design is associated with improved sealing at the implant restorative junction and may contribute to mechanical stability under functional loading. The narrow platform configuration is intended for cases where restorative space, implant diameter, and soft tissue management require a more compact prosthetic platform.
GDT implants are made of Titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI, material that combines properties such as low specific weight, high strength to weight ratio, very high corrosion resistance, and excellent general biocompatibility.
Ti-6Al-4V ELI is very similar to Ti-6Al-4V, except that Ti-6Al-4V ELI contains reduced levels of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron. ELI is short for “Extra Low Interstitials”, and these lower interstitials provide improved ductility and better fracture toughness for the material.
Ti-6Al-4V ELI has proven to be highly successful in the fabrication of dental implants
SLA Surface Treatment Technology:
SLA is a type of surface treatment that creates surface roughness intending to enhance osseointegration through greater bone-to-implant contact (BIC).
SLA surface treatment technology is based on a large-grit sandblasting technique that generates a macro-roughness on the titanium surface, This technique is followed by acid-etching that superposes a micro-roughness, This topography offers an excellent structure for cell attachment.
SLA surface treatment increases the rate at which osseointegration occurs by using a combination of grit and acid etching to give the surface increased roughness on multiple levels. This allows osteoblasts to proliferate and adhere to the implant surface. Through osseointegration, SLA helps provide increased stability to the implant which will ultimately lengthen its longevity.
