The CON RP Spiral Conical Connection Implant, Regular Platform is a tapered bone level implant designed to provide primary stability, restorative precision, and a secure conical implant abutment interface within a regular platform configuration. Its spiral body geometry is intended to support controlled insertion and effective engagement with the osteotomy, while the tapered implant form contributes to mechanical stability in a variety of bone conditions. The implant macro design incorporates progressive threads and apical cutting features that assist insertion control and support primary stability at placement.
The lower implant portion is designed to enhance bone engagement during insertion, while the converging coronal profile and platform switching concept are intended to support maintenance of crestal bone and peri implant soft tissue contours around the restorative platform. The CON RP implant may be used in both immediate loading and conventional two stage protocols, depending on bone quality, insertion torque, clinical assessment, and prosthetic planning. Its combination of tapered spiral geometry and conical restorative interface is intended to support functional stability and consistent restorative outcomes across a broad range of clinical applications.
The implant features a conical hex connection designed to support a stable restorative junction and precise prosthetic seating. This type of connection is associated with improved mechanical fit at the implant restorative interface and may contribute to long term restorative stability. The regular platform configuration is intended to provide broader prosthetic support in cases requiring a wider restorative base and increased restorative flexibility.
GDT implants are made of Titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI, material that combines properties such as low specific weight, high strength to weight ratio, very high corrosion resistance, and excellent general biocompatibility.
Ti-6Al-4V ELI is very similar to Ti-6Al-4V, except that Ti-6Al-4V ELI contains reduced levels of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron. ELI is short for “Extra Low Interstitials”, and these lower interstitials provide improved ductility and better fracture toughness for the material.
Ti-6Al-4V ELI has proven to be highly successful in the fabrication of dental implants
SLA Surface Treatment Technology:
SLA is a type of surface treatment that creates surface roughness intending to enhance osseointegration through greater bone-to-implant contact (BIC).
SLA surface treatment technology is based on a large-grit sandblasting technique that generates a macro-roughness on the titanium surface, This technique is followed by acid-etching that superposes a micro-roughness, This topography offers an excellent structure for cell attachment.
SLA surface treatment increases the rate at which osseointegration occurs by using a combination of grit and acid etching to give the surface increased roughness on multiple levels. This allows osteoblasts to proliferate and adhere to the implant surface. Through osseointegration, SLA helps provide increased stability to the implant which will ultimately lengthen its longevity.
